Pelican Marsh is a gated, master-planned community in northwest Collier County, bordered by Naples Park to the west, Pine Ridge to the south and US-41 along its western edge, about eight miles north of downtown Naples. Preserves, lakes and 1990s construction define the water pattern: a storm that overwhelms a lake outfall, an irrigation line against a wall, or a slow supply-line leak behind a cabinet.
